Hello and welcome
“MakMore Villa” is much more than a villa on an island. It is the perfect match of luxury with discretion and comfort with a natural lifestyle.
The blend of the architectural design and quality construction with the natural environment and the unpretentious but cautiously chosen decorative bohemian details, make this property the perfect holiday place.
Ideal getaway for groups who want to enjoy their holidays together but also keep their privacy.
Unique and spectacular sea and island views.
The harmonious blend of MakMore’s superb architectural design
The story of our name…
Friends and guests are often asking “why the name MakMore”?
“MakMore” comes from the combination of our family name together with the word “More” which means “Sea” in Russian.
Although our origins aren’t from Russia, we wanted to show our gratitude to the country that has been our home for many years.
“Luxurious serenity. Modern comfortable style with a touch of tradition !!“
“What a bless to have spent a week in MakMore with my large family! This place is a blend of luxury and simplicity so nicely melted in the Mediterranean nature. The views are just amazing and there is plenty of room for everybody. Highly recommended!“
“Stunning views and privacy. Peaceful location but still close to the bustling town of Naousa. Isabelle was very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend the private chef she arranged to make the holiday even more relaxing!“
“The house was even prettier in real life. It was massive and had more than enough space. We had such a lovely time there and we were put in touch with a taxi who knew where the house was and came to pick us up at any time. The pool was amazing and everything worked well. Would so go again.“
“This place is stunning. Amazing food, ask for Elias, and stunning views and generally great vibe. Highly recommend“
The only problem with this grading system is there are only 5 stars. Once in a while, you come across a place where 5 stars seems woefully inadequate – this is one of those places. From the photos, our expectations were high – they were exceeded. Excellent communication from the beginning with Isabelle who went to great lengths to ensure all questions were answered and was a delight to communicate with. As we were going to be arriving late, we asked for a recommendation for someone to prepare dinner for us – Isabelle recommended Elia – she was amazing! After traveling all day there is nothing better than arriving in your villa for the first time with wonderful aromas of a specially prepared dinner. Elia was a contact throughout our stay and sourced food from local places she knew. Everything we needed – done. Local food/beverages done. Passionate, creative and talented chef -done. Her college-bound daughter also helped – the next generation of excellent Greek cooks is coming fast. She also recommended some restaurants down in Naoussa – we dined at Sigi Ikthios – outstanding. As soon as you book Makmore, the very next thing is to ask Isabelle for Elia’s contact. The villa itself is an architectural masterpiece. The design is so well thought out, lighting, windows, shapes, space, tons of bedrooms and bathrooms, high end finishes everywhere. Large sliding doors extended the indoors outdoors. Areas for privacy and great areas for everyone to hang out on the terraces or around the pool. Located near the top of a hill the views from almost every angle not just over the infinity pool will make you question whether you really have to leave. What a stunning experience.
MakMore’s specific location was decided after long research on the island. Finally, that plot of 4100m2 was chosen because of its spectacular views overlooking Ysterni bay, Tsoukalia beach, and also facing Naxos island. Its strategic location is based on a quiet and secluded environment, only a short drive away from Naoussa and its attractions, and also close to the beach and a plethora of small shops around. Construction started in January 2016 and MakMore was delivered in July 2017.
